April 15th, 2022: A TIME OF DELIVERANCE THIS PESACH SEASON!
During this Pesach season of deliverance for the people of Israel, and the resurrection power of the RUACH HA'KODESH (Holy Spirit), that raised our precious YESHUA from the grave, we remember the important promise of Romans 8:9-11:
"9 You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Messiah, he does not belong to Messiah.
10 But if Messiah is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness."
Romans 8:9-10
It was Palm Sunday when our people proclaimed: "Baruch Ha'Ba B'Shem ADONAI" ("Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of the LORD").
Many Jews received and welcomed YESHUA into their hearts, during His triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
The Hebrew word for Palm Sunday is called "Hoshi'Ana" Sunday which means "SAVE US" Sunday. On that day, He did not enter as a king riding on a horse, but as a Servant riding on a donkey. The horse is an animal of war, but the donkey is an animal of service.
"I have been CRUCIFIED with MESSIAH; and it is NO LONGER I who live, but MESSIAH lives IN me. And the life I now live in the body,
I live by TRUSTING in
BEN-ELOHIM - Who LOVED me and GAVE HIMSELF UP for me." Galatians 2:20
(This was my son's favorite Bible verse, who passed away on his way to church, to teach children about the Word of God.)
But YESHUA came to make war, once and for all, for our sins, and to destroy the sting of death. Because of what He accomplished for us, we are free from eternal death, thanks to our Pesach Lamb!
“...Death has been swallowed up in victory.” 55“Where, O Death, is your victory? Where, O Death, is your sting?” 1 Corinthians 15:54-55
Yeshua, before He resurrected, went down to Sheol (Hell) to set the captives free, those who had been waiting for His coming.
As the people of Israel were delivered from Egypt by ADONAI’S mighty Hand and outstretched Arm, so YESHUA delivered us from sin and death. "For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom He wishes." John 5:21
The same mighty Hand that opened the Red Sea quickened YESHUA out of the grave! And now we are reminded of the newness of life we have in Him:
As we prepare to eat the Matza (unleavened bread), we need to prepare spiritually; searching our hearts, repenting and allowing His Blood to make atonement, washing us clean, removing sins from our lives. We need to do this, in order for us to celebrate this Pesach season with pure hearts.
"Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth." 1 Corinthians 5:8
Remembering that obedience is better than sacrifice. (1 Samuel 15:22)
The AFIKOMAN is a piece that is broken off from a matzo during a Seder and is wrapped up and hidden away, until the last part of the Passover meal, when it is found by the children present, and eaten.
And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 18:3
May all Israel come to the saving knowledge of their Messiah, discovering their AFIKOMAN (their hidden Matzah), and partaking of YESHUA, their Passover Lamb; saying BARUCH HABA B'SHEM ADONAI! Amen.
