May 23, 2023: WAITING WITH EXPECTATION!
!חג שבועות שמח
Chag Shavuot Sameach! Happy Feast of Weeks and Day of Pentecost!
Erev Shavuot begins on the evening of Thursday May 25th, 2023, and ends on the evening of Friday May 26th, 2023, right when Shabbat begins.
ELIHANA'S NEW SONG IS RELEASED!
Elihana has released her latest brand new single: "SPIRIT, FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB" just in time for Shavuot and is excited to share it with you!
Just as the promise of the RUACH HA'KODESH (Holy Spirit) was a special gift, so freely given, by our Heavenly ABBA, Elihana would like to make this new special song available to everyone as a FREE GIFT to THANK YOU for your support of our ministry work!
Shavuot is one of the three most important Feasts in the Bible, together with Pesach (Passover) and Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles).
Today, we want to focus on the preparation days that the disciples of Yeshua went through, leading up to Shavuot.
The disciples had three wonderful years, walking very closely with our Lord Yeshua Ha'Mashiach! They witnessed the LIVING TORAH on earth, the Son of ELOHIM and Elohim Himself as man incarnate, doing miracles on earth, giving them step-by-step instructions, as He taught them.
Imagine how heartbreaking and difficult it was for them to see their Lord and Master hanging on a cross, in pain and suffering.
Then, suddenly, such exuberant joy, three days later, when Yeshua Himself came and greeted them with "PEACE BE WITH YOU!"
The disciples' eyes were opened and they saw clearly that HE IS ALIVE!
And if that's not enough, Yeshua remained among them for an additional 40 days, after He resurrected, giving proof to many that He was indeed alive, counting the Omer (time of preparation for Shavuot) with them, and teaching them even more!
The disciples were in a unique position to see the power of the Resurrection being demonstrated, right before their very eyes, as Yeshua walked and lived among them, during those 40 days! It was also a time of preparing for the celebration of the Giving of the Torah, on the 50th day.
On the 40th day Yeshua ascended up to heaven and left them with the command to remain in Jerusalem until the RUACH HA'KODESH (Holy Spirit) had come upon them, from the Father!
This is the part where we pick up from the article we wrote during the initial days of Counting the Omer, and how YESHUA is our FIRSTFRUITS OFFERING! You can read it on our Frontlines Teaching website:
The disciples were NOT told how long they needed to wait. They were simply told TO wait together. It took faith, it took discipline, it took obedience and unity, being in one-accord with each other, in order for the events in Acts 2 to take place!
"And He (Yeshua) led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up His hands He blessed them. 51 While He blessed them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven. 52 And they worshiped Him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, 53 and were continually in the temple blessing God." Luke 24:50-53
With JOYFUL expectation, they waited together for the promise of the Holy Spirit! We too are called to take on the position of joyful expectation, while waiting for the fulfillment of the many promises ADONAI has given us! Let us remind ourselves about His FAITHFULNESS in fulfilling His promises to us, by being FAITH-FILLED in our expectation of these promises, that He WILL FULFILL, in His perfect timing!
Let us wait expectantly during these remaining days of the Counting of the Omer, to prepare ourselves for what the LORD will do in our midst, this Shavuot!
Let us stand firm in the faith, being faithful in our obedience to ADONAI, worshiping Him, following His commands and living in unity and in peace with each other.
Let us remember ADONAI'S love for us, that causes us to trust in Him more and more each day!
The disciples stayed CONTINUALLY IN THE TEMPLE PRAISING GOD! They kept themselves occupied, focusing on ELOHIM and not on the circumstances around them!
"Therefore, since you have been raised with Messiah, strive for the things above, where Messiah is seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Messiah in God. 4 When Messiah, Who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory." Colossians 3:1-4
As we wait expectantly for Shavuot, during these final days of the Counting of the Omer, let us SET OUR MINDS ON THINGS ABOVE, and NOT on earthly things!
Here are 3 THINGS from Above, that we can focus on, during this time of waiting:
Focus on HIS DIVINE POWER, which gives us EVERYTHING that we need for living a godly life! "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence." 2 Peter 1:3
Focus on HIS GOODNESS towards us, remembering the many miracles and answers to prayers that He has given to us! "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning." James 1:17 "I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and on Your wondrous works. Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts, and I will declare Your greatness. They shall utter the memory of Your great goodness, and shall sing of Your righteousness." Psalm 145:5-7
Focus on HIS FAITHFULNESS! He is faithful to His Word and to His promises! He will never leave us nor forsake us! "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:23 "Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago." Isaiah 25:1
Acts 2 The fulfillment of the promise of the Ruach Ha'Kodesh (Holy Spirit) on Pentecost!
Finally, on the 50th day, as the disciples were all gathered together, commemorating the giving of the Torah, suddenly the promise of the Spirit came in the form of a wind, while they were on Mount Zion, worshiping, praising, reading the Torah all together in one place!
We need to remember that the coming of the Ruach Ha'Kodesh, is the gift of the Father, that Yeshua promised us!
He is the Helper, Councilor, Comforter, Advocate. And He gives us the empowerment we need to be obedient, because He convicts of sin, and intercedes on our behalf. He enables us to offer up our lives as living sacrifices, setting ourselves apart unto holiness to the LORD! He is the wind beneath our wings, lifting us up on wings like eagles, causing us to run and not grow weary, to walk and not faint! (Isaiah 40:31)
"In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God." Romans 8:26-27
Did you know that we actually have TWO advocates? YESHUA, Who is seated at the right hand of the Father, and the RUACH HA'KODESH! Both are interceding on our behalf! (Romans 8:34)
Why? Because out of the mouth of two or three witnesses a matter is established!
“Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.” 2 Corinthians 13:1
Ask the Holy Spirit to empower you with more faith, so that you are able to fulfill His calling upon your life!
"‘In the last days, ADONAI says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.18 Even on My menservants and maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.19 I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. 20 The sun will be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and glorious Day of the Lord. 21 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" Acts 2:17-21 Thank you Abba Father, for giving us Your Torah, teaching us Your ways. Thank you for pouring out Your Ruach Ha'Kodesh, Your Spirit, upon us! Keep us aligned with Your commandments, ordering our steps in the straight and narrow path, as we submit ourselves, in humility, by the power of Your Spirit. Thank you ADONAI for the gift of faith that You give to us so readily, as we prepare for what you will do this Shavuot! Cause Your fire to fall upon us, giving us the boldness of faith that we need to PERSEVERE in these Last Days! ABBA, make us strong as we wait EXPECTANTLY upon You! Keeping our eyes fixed upon You, the Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). And we thank You for causing us to be MORE THAN CONQUERORS, in Messiah Yeshua! In YESHUA'S MIGHTY NAME, amen!
Here is a special song, to encourage you as you wait expectantly, this Shavuot!

“Three times a year all your men must appear before the LORD your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks and the Festival of Tabernacles. No one should appear before the LORD empty-handed.” Deuteronomy 16:16
We focus first in the message of Yeshua the Messiah to the Jewish people and for the edification of the Believers in the Body of Messiah, with a call to receive their identity as part of Israel, celebrating all Biblical Feasts as One New Man and grafted into the Olive Tree! This is the heart of Yeshua, that we might be ONE!
THANK YOU for partnering with us!
To our dear family of warriors, we receive your prayers and thank you for the love and care you have shown us! 🙏
We continue walking in the ways of ADONAI'S righteous paths, waiting with great expectation for the good plans He has in store for each one of us!
